Front pricing in 2026: every plan and what a team pays

These are US prices from Front's pricing page, checked on November 1, 2026. Front bills each seat, a paid license for one person, and every seat in an organization is on the same plan. There is no free plan; a 14-day trial of Professional needs no credit card.

Short answer

Front costs $25 per seat a month for Starter, $65 for Professional and $105 for Enterprise, billed annually in US dollars. Billed monthly, Starter is $35 and Professional $85; Enterprise is annual only. Three seats on Starter cost $900 a year.

Front price per plan

Front Starter costs $25 per seat a month billed annually, which is $300 a seat a year. Professional costs $65 ($780 a year) and Enterprise $105 ($1,260 a year).[1]

Every plan includes shared inboxes and ticketing, assignments, tags, internal comments, shared drafts and message templates. The plans differ in channels, automation, analytics and AI.[1]

Starter[1]$25 ($300 a year)$35Up to 10 seats, one channel type, shared inbox, 10 automation rules
Professional[1]$65 ($780 a year)$85Up to 50 seats, email, SMS, social and WhatsApp, macros, SSO

Annual or monthly billing

Front says annual billing saves 24%. Monthly billing costs $35 per seat on Starter and $85 on Professional, so a year of monthly billing costs $120 and $240 more per seat. Enterprise is sold on annual billing only.[1]

You can add or remove seats within your plan, but you cannot put some people on Starter and others on Professional. Annual contracts over $12,000 can be paid by wire transfer or ACH, and contracts over $25,000 require an onboarding package.[1]

Seat and channel limits

  • Seats: up to 10 on Starter, up to 50 on Professional, no cap on Enterprise.
  • Channels: up to 10 per seat on Starter, 30 on Professional and 50 on Enterprise. Five Professional seats can connect up to 150 channels.
  • Channel types: Starter supports one type, email, chat or SMS. Professional and Enterprise mix email, SMS, social channels and WhatsApp.
  • Workspaces: 1 on Starter, up to 5 on Professional, unlimited on Enterprise.
  • Automation: up to 10 rules on Starter, macros and up to 20 rules on Professional, unlimited on Enterprise.

Front's pricing page lists no mailbox storage or email hosting. Front connects channels such as email, so check whether you also pay a separate email host.[1]

Add-ons and what they cost

  • Copilot, the AI assistant that drafts replies: $20 per seat a month on Starter and Professional, included in Enterprise.
  • Autopilot, the AI agent that handles conversations: from $0.05 a conversation, through sales.
  • Native WhatsApp: Meta's WhatsApp charges plus a 20% admin fee, on Professional and Enterprise.
  • API rate limit increase: $200 a month per 100 extra requests a minute, on every plan.
  • Onboarding and other services: priced through Front sales.

What each plan leaves out

  • Starter: one channel type only, no macros, basic analytics, no SSO or SCIM, one workspace, and Copilot only as an add-on.
  • Professional: no smart rules, no custom roles, no multi-language knowledge base, and Copilot, Smart QA and Smart CSAT not included.
  • Enterprise: no monthly billing.

Recent price changes

Front's pricing page announces no price change. The annual prices and the Copilot add-on are the same as when we last checked the page, on October 15, 2026.[1]

Worked example: a year for 3 and 10 people

Front bills every seat, so the yearly cost is the price per seat times the team times 12. Ten people still fit on Starter.[1]

  • 3 seats: Starter $900 billed annually or $1,260 monthly. Professional $2,340 or $3,060. Enterprise $3,780.
  • 10 seats: Starter $3,000 billed annually or $4,200 monthly. Professional $7,800 or $10,200. Enterprise $12,600.

Adding Copilot to 10 Professional seats costs another $2,400 a year.[1]

Front compared with Shipmail

Front is a customer service platform: SMS, social channels, WhatsApp, a knowledge base, analytics and automation rules, priced per seat. If a large support team works across those channels, Front does more than Shipmail.[1]

Shipmail prices the plan, not the person. Solo is $4 a month for 2 mailboxes and one person, Pro $9 for 4 mailboxes and up to 5 people, and Team $29 for 12 mailboxes and unlimited people. Annual billing costs 10 times the monthly price. Each mailbox holds 15 GB on Solo and Pro and 25 GB on Team.[2]

  • 3 people on Shipmail Pro: $9 a month, $90 a year on annual billing.
  • 10 people on Shipmail Team: $29 a month, $290 a year on annual billing.
  • The same teams on Front Starter: $900 and $3,000 a year.
