Resend pricing in 2026: every plan and what a team pays

These are US prices from Resend's pricing page and its plain-text version for agents, checked on November 1, 2026. Resend has no annual plan and no discount for paying a year ahead. Every team member uses the same plan, so team size does not change the price; email volume does.

Short answer

Resend is free for 3,000 emails a month, at most 100 a day. Pro costs $20 a month for 50,000 emails or $35 for 100,000, and Scale starts at $90 for 100,000, with extra emails at $0.90 per 1,000. Resend prices the team by volume, not per user, and bills monthly only.

Resend price per plan

Resend has four transactional plans. Free sends 3,000 emails a month. Pro costs $20 a month for 50,000 emails or $35 for 100,000. Scale costs $90 for 100,000 and rises with volume. Enterprise is a custom quote for teams sending a million emails a month or more.Sources[1]Resend pricing[2]Resend pricing for agents

  • Scale, 200,000 emails: $160 a month, $0.80 per extra 1,000.
  • Scale, 500,000 emails: $350 a month, $0.70 per extra 1,000.
  • Scale, 1,000,000 emails: $650 a month, $0.65 per extra 1,000.
  • Scale, 1,500,000 emails: $825 a month, $0.52 per extra 1,000.
  • Scale, 2,500,000 emails: $1,150 a month, $0.46 per extra 1,000.

Marketing email has its own plans, priced by contacts instead of emails sent: free for 1,000 contacts, then Pro marketing from $40 a month for 5,000 contacts up to $650 for 150,000. Broadcasts do not count against the transactional quota.[2]

Monthly billing and overage

Self-serve plans are billed monthly only, with no annual plan or annual discount. For an annual commitment at high volume, Resend sends you to sales.[2]

With pay-as-you-go turned on, a paid plan keeps sending past its quota and pays for extra emails in blocks of 1,000. Without it, Resend notifies you and offers an upgrade. Every email you receive also counts toward the quota.[2]

Domain, inbox and data limits

  • Users: Resend prices the team, not each person. The plans set no per-user fee.
  • Domains: 3 on Free, 10 on Pro, 1,000 on Scale.
  • Inboxes: 3 on every plan. On paid plans with pay-as-you-go, more cost $1 per inbox a month, and inbox email uses the transactional quota.
  • Webhook endpoints: 1 on Free, 5 on Pro, 10 on Scale.
  • Data retention: 30 days for emails and logs on Free, Pro and Scale.
  • Automation runs: 10,000 a month included, then $0.0015 a run on paid plans.

Add-ons and what they cost

  • Domains: $20 a month for 100 more, on Pro and Scale.
  • Dedicated IP: $30 a month on Scale, for teams sending more than 3,000 emails a day, with automatic warmup.
  • Single sign-on: $150 a month on Scale, included on Enterprise.
  • Extra inboxes: $1 each a month.

Registered nonprofits can apply for 50% off paid plans. Resend has no free trial; the Free plan does not expire.[2]

What each plan leaves out

  • Free: a 100-email daily limit, one webhook endpoint, no extra inboxes, no extra domains and no deliverability expertise.
  • Pro: no dedicated IP, no SSO and no Slack support channel.
  • Scale: SSO and a dedicated IP only as add-ons, and 30-day data retention.
  • Every self-serve plan: monthly billing only. Inbound email, the SMTP relay, SDKs, open and click tracking and React Email are on all plans.

Recent price changes

Resend's pricing page announces no price change. The plan prices, the overage rate and the inbox price are the same as when we last checked the page, on October 27, 2026.[1]

Worked example: a year for a 3-person and a 10-person team

Because Resend bills volume, the team's size only matters through how much it sends and how many inboxes it wants.[2]

  • A 3-person team sending 30,000 emails a month: Pro at $20, $240 a year. Its 3 inboxes are included.
  • A 10-person team sending 100,000 emails a month and wanting an inbox each: Pro at $35 plus 7 extra inboxes at $1, $504 a year. Mail sent and received in those inboxes counts toward the 100,000.
  • The same 10-person team on Scale with a dedicated IP: $120 a month, $1,440 a year, before extra inboxes.

Resend compared with Shipmail

Resend is an email API for developers, with official SDKs and an SMTP relay on every plan. Its free plan and its volume tiers make it the better pick when you only send from an app, or send more than a few hundred thousand emails a month.[2]

Shipmail is business email first: mailboxes for the team, and app email through an API on the same plan. Pro includes 40,000 sends a month and Team 120,000. Each sender sends from its own subdomain, and replies land in a Shipmail mailbox.Sources[3]Shipmail pricing[4]Shipmail transactional email documentation

Shipmail prices the plan, not the person. Solo is $4 a month for 2 mailboxes and one person, Pro $9 for 4 mailboxes and up to 5 people, and Team $29 for 12 mailboxes and unlimited people. Annual billing costs 10 times the monthly price. Each mailbox holds 15 GB on Solo and Pro and 25 GB on Team.[3]

  • 3 people on Shipmail Pro: $90 a year on annual billing, with a mailbox each.
  • 10 people on Shipmail Team: $290 a year on annual billing, with a mailbox each.

    Shipmail transactional email documentation

Shipmail transactional email: an app sends from its own sending subdomain, and replies go to a Shipmail mailbox. Sends count toward the plan's monthly quota, a sender costs nothing extra, Activity shows delivery status, and a retry with the same Idempotency-Key returns the first message. Every email from a sender carries its mailbox's address as Reply-To, so replies arrive in that mailbox's Transactional folder; the sending address itself cannot receive email.
