- The Google Workspace total assumes 3 paid user licenses, one for each person who needs a separate inbox and login.

What the calculator counts
Google Workspace charges for user accounts, not for the number of domains attached to the subscription. A person who needs a separate inbox and login generally needs a paid license. An address that only forwards as an alias does not.
Shipmail plans are based on mailbox count, not domain count. The calculator chooses the lowest-priced current plan that has enough mailboxes for the number of paid users you entered.

Google Workspace includes Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet, and other productivity tools. Storage varies by tier. Shipmail focuses on custom-domain email, shared inboxes, calendars, newsletters, and developer access.

Does Google Workspace charge for every email address?
No. Google charges for user accounts. Alias addresses can deliver to an existing user's inbox without another license, but an alias does not get its own inbox or login.
Can one Google Workspace subscription use several domains?
