Contacts (CardDAV)

Every shipmail mailbox includes a CardDAV address book. Sync contacts across devices using any CardDAV-compatible app.

Supported clients

  • Apple Contacts (macOS, iOS). Add via System Settings > Internet Accounts > Add Other Account > CardDAV.
  • Thunderbird. Add a CardDAV address book via the Address Book > New Address Book > Remote (CardDAV).
  • GNOME Contacts / Evolution. Add an online account with CardDAV support.
  • DAVx5 (Android). Add a CardDAV account using the URL above.

Auto-discovery

Most CardDAV clients support auto-discovery via /.well-known/carddav. If your client asks for a server URL, use https://mx1.shipmail.to.
