Contacts

Every shipmail mailbox includes an address book. Manage it from the Contacts page in the dashboard, and sync it across devices using any CardDAV-compatible app. Both views share the same data: a contact added in the web app appears on your phone, and vice versa.

Contacts in the dashboard

Open Contacts in the dashboard sidebar to view, search, create, edit, and delete contacts for any mailbox you have access to. Contacts power recipient autocomplete in the compose window: matching names and addresses are suggested as you type in the To and CC fields.

When you send an email from the dashboard, recipients that are not already in your address book are saved automatically to a separate Auto-saved book. They appear in autocomplete right away, and you can promote them to your main address book (or delete them) from the Contacts page. Auto-save is enabled by default. Turn it off from Settings > Preferences.
